i know one thing; NEVER do it the cowerdly way and ask som1 to do it for u or over the phone. think about it; ur boyfriend troubles r ur own buisness and if u wana be friends, i would start by being brave enough to tell him urself. just tell him tht u want to talk to him about somthing important and just tell him (alone) tht u dont really want to be a couple but would really like to still be friends. hope this works :)

I think you have to do it yourself. It's difficult but it's the best thing to do.

HEHE what happend? it is a really diffcult question to answer. but i think we have a lot in common. i am a little tired with my girlfriend,too, you know that kind of thing . but i wnanna be friend with her,too. did you really want to break up with him ? did he do wrong?just think twice , ok? my sister have the same problem. i ... i just want to say , calm down ,be yourself&take it easy. time will be the cure if he does not forgive you. 相逢一笑泯恩仇。 chinese, sino-idiom. means as time goes by ,we still be good friend forever. good friend :)

The best way to brake up with someone is to brake up with the on the phone. You might seem like a coward, but you will feel better when you get off the phone. If he is a nice guy he would probably understand. (Remember) this is for you, not for him. Tell him the reason why you cant brake up with him face 2 face. Tell him that it would be to much for you to handle. I no that this would work because i have tried it 3 times..
do it face to face.... it is better espcially if you wanna be friends with him!!!!!
