my sense of smell has been progressively going for awhile but now I have no sense of smell or taste at all. And for the past few months there's a constant sickly sweet smell everytime i breathe in. its nothing to do with my house etc as its everywhere i go, even outside and its getting so bad its literally making me feel sick its so sweet. does anyone have any idea what this could be??? i had sinus infections on and off for the last few years, could it be to do with that? thats probably where it is coming from your sinus you might have a infection and it might be alot of head congession it drains down the back of your throat might make you cough plug you up but it sounds like you might have a ongoing problem with your sinuses there might be a more concentrated infection going on i would see a dr and get checked out
thanks very much for your reply. i was thinking maybe it was that but its strange as ive never had huge problems with sinuses only the odd infection here and there. just happy its not likely to be anything serious, was getting nervous about it.
