as, to admeasure dower; toadmeasure common of pasture. - The measure of a thing; dimensions; size.
- (Law) Formerly, the adjustment of proportion, or ascertainment of shares, as of dower or pasture held in common. This was by writ of admeasurement, directed to the sheriff.
