Anacyclus Pyrethrum ) of the Mediterranean region, having finely divided leaves and whitish flowers. The root is the officinal pellitory, and is used as an irritant and sialogogue. Called alsobertram , andpellitory of Spain . -
The feverfew (
Chrysanthemum Parthenium ); -- so called because it resembles the above.
