Im talking about not obese men, but guys that are just... average bodied... little closer to a care bear than a GI joe...
Is that just what girls go for because they feel that the classic macho muscular man is either out of reach, or out of their league, or whatever other reason.
Do girls like chubby guys at all or are they really just settling because they cant have the hunk ?

It's all about personality if you ask me. If you're confident, then you're going to be lucky with girls. Of course, it's not luck, it's just the way it is.
Just be fun and friendly. These things are directly related to your self esteem IMO.
So just work on your happiness and girls will follow!
Muscles are not very important (my opinion), but you must strive to be healthy! How else can you study, concentrate and have energy for example?
If you're muscular but awkward socially then I don't think many girls will like you!
I personally am more attracted to a "heavier" body type. And I'm Pansexual so, appearance isn't a big deal for me.. I like a person based on their personality initially, even though I like a heavier body type, and then I become attracted to them physically. But that's just me haha.
