Just how big of a poop hole were you expecting to see on a tiny fish? It's not even large on a human. The size of the buttocks doesn't have anything to do with the poop hole.
If you watch a goldfish you will eventually see a long string of poop dangling from under the fish until it breaks off and falls. If there is poo, there is a poo hole.
