I got my belly pierced yesterday with my friend. When i walked back home i seen so much blood. I get that its okay to bleed a little, but i had soo much blood. Even my friend had blood but not as much as me. Her blood stop afterwards and mine still started bleeding even after 7 hours of having it done. I just woke up and i have dry blood around my belly piercing. Am i mean to clean off the dry blood or do i leave it. My piercer told me to not clean my belly for 2-3 days when i got it done. But should i?

They say its not good to clean them but I did when my belly button got pierced that day without a problem. I took a paper towel and dipped it in alcohol to clean the blood. My belly button bled for what it seemed FOREVER. The dried blood was just as unsightly. It don't hurt to clean it just as long as its sanitary cleansers like alcohol or peroxide to prevent possible infections.
