Girls like to know that you care about.. and I don't mean flowers and all that stuff just ask hear 'hello, how you feel, it's winter and getting cold.. bla bla bla' but don't be a perv don't ask her the same stuff everyday. Girls like boys who can listen to them and can say forward more than 'mhm' or 'ohh, ok', tell her that she looks pretty in something but be gentle with that one you have to pick something small to say it's cool like watch or jewelry - try not to act like gay fashion-designer. If she ask you somethin first be cool and act cool like Nicolas Cage. ps. when I was in 5th grade boys who did sports were cool, for example you can invite her to your match or somethin - if you're good at any sport :)
