Ok so me and friends like gymnastics. It's a lot of us. Two gymnasts, a soccer player, three dancers, three cheerleaders, and two singers. We make up the female athletes in our class. I can do a cartwheel, but not a good one, as in bent legs and lousy landing. I can't do a handstand, as in bent legs. I do a forward roll on a soft, like matress-type surface. on grass, I end up stnading on my head and falling. If I even try I backbend, I fall on my head (yes, I use arms.) So I have two gymnast friends. So let's call the one I'm talking about, "Renee." So Renee acts like a gymnastics coach, carrying around a notebook with check boxes and names on it. So when someone does a trick right, they are checked off. I have nothing checked off, while everyone else has about 3 or 4 things checked off. When I told my friend I stink at gymnastics, she started me with handstands. But then, day after, she assigns me to cartwheels. I've practiced for about 2 hours and I still can't do it that well. My best is when I land like in a standing position, but then my tummy tucks inward and I step forward out of control. But yeah, I stink at gymnastics. I have to admit, some girls in our area as in like a "clique" do have other problems that I haven't had either in a while or yet. I weigh the most out of my class. I'm 135, while others are 75 or 80. I want to get into a Level 1 class, but I am probably going to be put with babies and little kids. I'm 12 and I get mad when I'm put with younger kids like that. I'm also short, so people think I'm about 7 or 8. I can't tell you how many times people have mistaken me for a little kid. I want to go to private lessons somewhere, but they said they only have them for special needs kids or for extra help on tricks. I have no gymnastics experience at all.
