I'm entering high school in August, but I really don't want to go to my zoned high school. The school I'm zoned for is known for being bad and there tends to be a lot fights and violent altercations. My zoned school is about 5 minutes from my neighborhood and my preferred school is 10 minutes, 14 depending on traffic.
I live in Palm Beach County and the high school I want to go to is Park Vista Community High school. Is there anway that I'll be able to go to Park Vista? Its kinda too late for choice programs.
There is a bus stop close to my neighborhood and my dad could drive me from time to time. My issue isn't transportation its more about getting around the system and attending Park Vista. Some counties can be really strict and have even sent people to jail for sending their kids to a school they aren't zoned for. Im just wondering if Palm Beach County is this strict or if there are any other ways besides choice programs to attend park vista.
