Tito in World War II. After the war he served as a member of the executive council of Slovenia, as a deputy of the Slovenian parliament (195163), and as a deputy of the federal parliament (196367, 1969). Ribičić served as president (196971) of the federal executive council, a position equivalent to that of premier, and as president (19823) of the Yugoslav Communist party.
