Ozenfant, Amédée

(ämādā´ ōzäNfäN´), 18861966, French art theorist and painter. He criticized the cubists after 1912 for creating a merely decorative art form. Ozenfant advocated a disciplined geometry known as purism. With Le Corbusier he wrote
