Dad says i have every right to learn Self-Defence, mum agrees, but she doesn't want me to do Martial Arts, because apparently " i would be TOO dangerous "
I agree that i have a right to defend myself, so what do i do?

why don't you see about dancin cause this would make your mom happy and yes it would dangerous but you might be able to take a less dangerous class of marshall arts that would still teach you the basics of how to protect yourself then take the marshall arts for your dad are you doing this through school or a private agency but i thought if you told mom if i do the dance class if you let me do the self defense classes that you could do self defense is a good class to take and would meet the requirements
There is a martial art that is involves dancing. It is called Capoeira it is a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance and music. Or you could just stay on your dads side. Tell her that when you learn it you develope socialization skills like how to end a fight, but not start a fight. Or you can do whatever fits you!
