i think you get the paperwork that tells you appraisal being how much the diamond ring costs estimated cost of the ring so if your ring has all diamonds in it not with other stones this tells you what kinda stones they are and what the stones cost when you have the ring finished and what the setting cost as well now authenticity means they certify that the stones are diamonds or what ever the other stones are that they are real what the setting is made from like sterling silver gold tansinite black hills gold they are two different things
