I am only 23, so I still have decades to really worry about retirement. Sometimes you will see a commercial making retirement look like an amazing thing with new adventures etc. but when you observe people who are actually retired, they look bored out of their minds and they need to find hobbies to keep them occupied.
The truth is, retirement is fairly new. It was only one-hundred or one-hundred and twenty-five years ago when we started seeing the retirement we have today. Back then, even the able bodied elderly had to pitch in and work. I think retirement is overrated unless you have a really boring career that pays good, then I'd understand.
Retirement is overrated, do you agree?

I agree completly, retirement can be fun and healthy if your job is stressful and you ditched your partner of family a lot because of work. Honestly find something you love doing and run with it, because living your life rich but miserable is much worse than poor and content.
Retirement is a perspective. I think it implies distinctive things to various individuals: some individuals call themselves resigned, are as yet working. To me, retirement happened when I chose I was never going to work again, and balanced my way of life and made another arrangement of objectives that I couldn't perform while working.
