I suppose that you are talking about the: www.theconsignment-store.com. I have been a customer for 2 years. I love their products and ordered at least 8-9 from them once a month. I trust their recommendations and now, having had such a positive experience in customer service, I feel even more confident in passing along their site to friends and family. I tout their website every chance I get! Thanks The Consignment Store for always offering high quality products at reasonable prices. TCS is one of my favorite sites!!
I have used TCS services a few times and never had a problem. I say go for it, they are legitimate, I'm considering selling my car through their service because as I can see they have a Large Item Program now... Less hassle for me!
Anyway, beware because there are lot of scam warnings regarding scammers claiming to sell items through their service but the story is different and you can't blame The Consignment Store for that, there are a lot of drop off stores and people are using them all the time, but if someone uses their name to steal from people that's not their fault. Be sure that you are dealing with the real The Consignment Store website which is: www.theconsignment-store.com.
They are a well known company, but I think this questions was already answered wasn't it? I’m an eBay member and I've used The Consignment Store last year to sell some of my items and I’m very happy. A transaction through TCS takes about 5-6 days business days, they handle the payment & shipping, so you won't have a headache with the entire process. Gladly recommend them, I wish they had phone support but I was very satisfied with their services.
I've ordered a Sony camcorder from The Consignment Store for my parents a couple of weeks ago and had really good experience. The price was pretty good, no salesman keep asking me to buy the accessories and so on... and it arrived one day before I expected. The camcorder is excellent so, I made the decision to get one for myself. I placed an order the day before yesterday and got their confirmation email immediately. Today I got the tracking number.
I will be a returning customer in future!
What can i say about TCS, friendly, helpful staff on hand to assist with questions (they even answered my emails on Memorial Day!)... Shipping is quick and products are outstanding! They must have a teleport system like in Star Trek as the goods arrived from the California to New York in TWO days! The Consignment Store service is absolutely fantastic!!!
Well I actually used The Consignment Store service and i agree with the rest of the people here, they are legitimate and there are a lot of people asking if they are legitimate online, they have a lot of reviews of actual people who used their services, so I am surprised that this question is still around.
I am using www.theconsignment-store.com for about 9 months, I'm selling car spare parts on Craigslist and I love the way they move and handle all my transactions, if my customers had questions they answer immediately, they ship fast and get the payment to me immediately as the money back guarantee is over. TCS is profitable in my case!
I purchased a plasma cutter 10 days ago and although it was a very heavy and large peace of equipment, they handled the transaction pretty fast, delivery was on time and the shipping was included in the price of sale because I purchased it form Craigslist.
All aces from me....
Well I am sorry to say but you should have staid in school more and never skip the math class because they have everything written on their website, so any normal person will make the calculations before they sign a contract, I am curious, what does the contract say? Have you compared the bill with The Consignment Store selling fees page?
Well, it depends on what you wanted for it because if you listed your car for a small price of course they will charge their fees and you will left with something next to nothing... You should have asked how much they are charging and add that amount to your Asking Price, that way you would have received exactly what you expected.
So, don't blame TCS for their fee, as you were aware of that!

I believe they have their fees and these terms already listed on their website, it`s your fault because you don't read before you do something. How can you not ask or read the contract, because I believe you signed a contract with them right?
