...seems to do good out of the hole, and up on plane fast. Boat has added small (short) live well, a "floor". I don't have power tilt and trim, it has a gas shock so the motor will kick up during log jumping and hitting stumps (where I live, it is common to hit 3 or 4 a trip) so no trimming is possible while up at speed. The aluminum props don't last one trip because of the underwater brush and limbs traveling through the timber. What degree prop comes on my boat, and what degree should I put on there to gain speed? Should I go up on degree or down? I just received a 12 for Christmas, but would 13 or 14 be better? (Without checking the rpm's). By ear the motor has no problems, whether I'm alone or with 2 passengers and gear.
