Lately my internet speeds have been way to slow. It's not my computer, I know it's my service. and it's not just my internet service but also my cable service I get from them. I don't watch TV that much but when I do the picture keeps stalling and freezing or rolling. It seems like ever since Charter went digital, there quality has dropped.
I'm having trouble loading most websites except for Netflix and Facbook etc. My computer even has trouble loading youtube videos. I feel like you pay all this cash and they give you old products. I feel ripped off.
So I'm wondering if there are other TV/internet services people like more than Charter or Dish Network, and why?
What service would you suggest instead of Charter?

A have AT&T 2wire and I only had one problem that turned out good.
If your willing to do some debating with the people then u can save some cash. If u choose AT&T and stay with them for like..... Half of a year this is the time to react because they thing they have you for good. Threaten them that your going to some other company because ur tired of the prices or service. If u talk with them they will most likely give u a smaller price (at the same tier) or a promotional rate. When the promotional rate is over call and ask for it again and if they say no then threaten your moving to another company again. I did this and I save a good 15-30 dollars a month. I've been with them my whole life doing this trick. You may not get as much of as I did because I'm a " valuable " customer. Hope this helps.
As much of a discount.
And you can do this threat to your company to give you better service. Idk
I'd rather get rid of the movie channels and stick with basic expanded TV. But they will not let me do that without raising the price, Plus I'm under contract and breaking it would make me pay more on top of the cost to switch services.
Wait...... they're charging MORE money for LESS channels??? Hmmmm.... that's ridiculous! Are you sure that this is accurate?
Well that's the question of the day. Can you wait until the contract is over or pay the fee to cancel?
I could break the contract. But it would cost me to do that, plus the cost switching services. The quality you get with the digital cable today sucks compared the traditional airwaves. For now I'm stuck with charter unless I get rid of cable TV and just keep the phone and internet. But they wouldn't like that I miss the basic/expanded tier, because the movie channels suck.
How much to break contract? Or is that personal?
So you want all channels beside movie channels? If so I'll do a little research. How much money are you willing to pay? 20,40,100?
How much a month?
Do you use U-verse? The bundles look good on the surface, but I can't shake the feeling that it will be like Charter. Plus the cost of switching services from Charter to AT&T.
If you do use U-verse, have you had problems with them raising the prices or making you get an extra tier package to keep the prices down?
