Because so many people use them, they are a part of society now and they can make our lives easier, like easy access to browsing the web sending emails and text messages ect. =D

For cell phones have became must communciational tools. We can use them to get in touch with friends, record lovely images and get fun when feel boring. At present, I'm using WIFI H9500 Mobile Phone Quadband TV FM Java Touch Screen, It's my secretary as well as my friend.

Cellphones are important for many reasons.
1. Emergencies, if you're in a room with someone who needs medical help or you saw someone get mugged you can call 911.
2. Staying in touch, you might be in school and you get a detention you can ask the teacher to let you use your phone to call your parents to get you a ride home after detention.
3. Socializing, when you're at home you can talk to your friends and maybe ask them for help on an assignment.
4. Etc.
