Why are paper, glass and metal recyclable products?

1. They are materials in common plentiful usage & in a form close to the original raw material.
2.They need relatively little energy, cost to process & reuse when compared to using fresh. (Aluminium is a good example as it needs huge amounts of electric to smelt from its ore bauxite).
3. Easy for people to identify & put in bins for collections (look at all the paper banks).

Because they are pure and don't require human disassembly to recycle; they can just be melted down and used again. If you compare it to, say, a computer or television set, you can't melt that down and make a new computer or TV. You have to disassemble it into its many components. Even then, you have mixed components in a very small space. A chip for instance has tiny and complicated architecture, whereas a lump of glass or metal is just a lump of one type of stuff.
