Will a Core i7-2620M make an difference to a Core i5-2430M?

Details:

The laptop in question is an Asus U36SD that claims having 10h battery capacity.

I would like to know if the i7 will drain the battery faster than the i5 and if so, the increase in speed is worth the extra 100€ and having the battery drain faster?

As far as i've seen the i5 version is more recent than that i7 version.
