..Ok so the problem is that a few months ago my husbands laptop went crazy and the only way to fix it?. was to reset it back to its factory settings. I thought that i had backed up all of his music on itunes but it turns out that i completely screwed it up and it didn't happen. Now 2000+ songs will not play because it says Original file cannot be found and wants me to locate them. Well with icloud i re downloaded all the purchased music and it says that 363 items were all re downloaded but when i go the the music library and try to sync it with the ipod it says only 52 songs can be downloaded. I do not know what the problem is but i cannot seem to fix it. If i pay for itunes match will it match up the 2000+ songs and put them on his ipod touch. His ipod touch is version 4.2.1 so will itunes match even be compatible because i can not get icloud to work on it itself because it is and older version. Please help because he is really going to kill me if i cannot fix this mess.
P.S not all of the 2000+ songs came from itunes, some were cds and mp3s from other sources
