What are the changes that christian faith has gone through over the last ten years?

You can't find two members of the same church who agree on what their faith is supposed to be.

In the 19th century Americans started moving west and three institutions went with them. There was vaudeville, traveling entertainment. There was lyceum, traveling education and culture. And there was the itinerant preacher, offering a new style of preaching called "hell fire and brim stone". It was very entertaining, only loosely based on scripture, and pastors didn't even try to compete. Instead they switched to preaching public morality and philosophy. Eventually an entire generation grew up not knowing the first thing about the religion they claimed to believe. That is why most Christian churches don't teach doctrines, and most members don't know what they are supposed to believe.

2 Timothy 4:
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

I agree with the first answer to this question. There is a recent movement that may have started around the 20th century which is more than 10 years ago. The hypergrace movement is herecy of original biblical doctrine that many televised preachers teach. A lot of attention has turned to the famous Asian pastor, Joseph Prince. Many theologians, bible scholars, and Christians accuse him of slightly tweaking the bible into making Christians believe that they should only study the New Testament of the bible. "Hypergrace" preachers believe that Christians should only live by the New Testament and Jews should only live by the Old Testament, in which is not what the bible was written for. The bible was written for both Jews and Christians and both religions should live by the same book.

James 1:22-25 “Become doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves with false reasoning. For if anyone is a hearer of the word, and not a doer, this one is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself, and off he goes and immediately forgets what sort of man he is. But he who peers into the perfect law that belongs to freedom and who persists in it, this man, because he has become, not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work; and he will be happy in what he does."
Even though this statement was made by the apostle James in the first century it applies more so today. People today are so confused they cannot recognize true Christianity. Reference the above statement by the apostle James who made it very clear that when one becomes a true Christian his personality and thinking must conform to Jehovah's (psalm 83:18) standard by living according to the bible principles that Jesus instructs his follow to apply to be recognized as true worshipers of God and his followers. In today's world people are forgetful hearers because their form of worship is following their tradition.
False teachings are the cause of people's lack of faith. Another reason is the teachers are not an example themselves because they do not understand what the bible REALLY TEACH. so their teachings are in vain.
