Darling, you have been listening to uneducated fools telling you about God. Even most ministers have not actually read the bible to the point of understanding it. The baloney that you hear from random preachers is ALWAYS tilted toward an emphatic interpretation, rather than toward a correct interpretation. For instance people assume that bad deeds must be punished, and God is a crabby old man with all power, so God is the ultimate punisher. None of that is true.
It takes a while to learn enough of the bible to see what is true. That is what the book of Job explains. People will tell you that God and Satan had a bet on Job, but if you read the bible you see that Job had a fear that his children depended on his sacrifices to secure God's blessing, and that fear allowed Satan to gain control. As God said, "Behold, he is in your power." But God protected Job from Satan's full power. Later in the book it says that Satan uses diseases, natural disasters, and other people to inflict his (not God's) punishment on someone.
You will not likely find anybody else who teaches any such thing. You just have to read the bible and ignore everything you have heard from any other source.

Conditions on earth aren't suppose to be like this. We weren't even suppose to experience disasters or pain and suffering. Its only because of Adam and Eve sinning that we go through these things. 1 John 5:19 speaks of us originating with God, but having the whole world lying in the power of the wicked one. That is why good and bad people both have to suffer together. But fortunately the Bible gives us hope for the future. When you get a chance read Psm 37:10,11, and 29. It speaks of better times for meek ones and wickedness being done away with
Humans are to blame for much of the suffering. They fight wars, commit crimes, pollute the environment, often carry on business in a manner motivated by greed rather than concern for their fellowman, and sometimes indulge in habits that they know can be harmful to their health. When they do these things, they hurt others and themselves. Should it be expected that humans would be immune to the consequences of what they do? (Gal. 6:7; Prov. 1:30-33) Is it reasonable to blame God for these things that humans themselves do?
No its definitely not. God's word the Bible tells us at 1 John 4:8, "God is love." Let's illustrate, will a loving father bring disasters of punishment on his children? Not at all. In a similar our Heavenly Father loves us, he cares for us, it's not in his genes to cause us suffering. Ecclesiastes 8:11 tells us, "Time and unexpected events overtake us all." Things happen sometimes when we are at the wrong place at the wrong time. These things could befall us all, whether we are good or bad . Remember our Heavenly Father created us, why will he want to bring terrible things like disasters on us.Dont get me wrong for the Bible says a loving parent disciplines his child, many accounts in the Bible tells us God had to discipline some of his children when it was needed, but he never changes loving discipline to disastrous punishment. The Bible tells us at Ecclesiastes 8:9, "Man has dominated man to his harm." Most of mankind problems are cause by man himself., man has cause injustice on themselves. They have intervened or contributed to man's problems in one way or another, but God himself promises that he will step in at Psalms 37:10, " just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more." Everything in this world, whether it is a disaster or a beautiful moment of life, everything that is happening in this world is controlled by the law of action and reaction, more popularly known as the law of karma. Nothing happens by chance, by fate, by luck. Why do apples grow on a tree? It is because of the seed. Why is there a disaster? It is because of our deed. God is not punishing us. The law of nature is giving us what we deserve. It is not possible for good people to suffer. Just like it is not possible for apples to grow on a mango tree. Look around. Will you find apples on a mango tree? No, the law of nature will not permit it. What we don’t realize is that the people who seem to be good people have done some action in the past, distant past, even a previous life and that is why they are affected and they suffer.
