I know this is a common question when getting X rays and such. the last time I was in the ER they asked me 5+ times in the span of 4 minutes or so. every time I said no and it was obvious i was getting increasingly uncomfortable. It's a traumatic question for me and I don't want to sound rude when I tell them to stop asking me. I was wondering if there was a law/regulation on how many times they can legally ask you?

They can ask as many times as they want only other thing is if they suspect something but i agree with having to answer the question over and over thats a little rude just come out and ask them why they have to keep asking?If you have pcp he or she might be able to stop that for you.
