Well, what exactly do you mean by "present"? The bible records several occasions when God was not present. (First Kings chapter 19) If God were "in" something, He would be observable. God is not observable, He is a spirit. God is the God of rightness. Rightness is not "present" or "in" something.
Many or most people assume that God is a bearded man who wears a billowing robe and lives in the sky and smites people. It is no wonder that atheists laugh at the silliness of such an image.
Science is anything that can be measured. Spirit is anything that can not be measured. Science is powered by logic and evidence. Spirit is powered by believing and wisdom. No connection. The reason you can't "prove" God is that if you don't believe, then by definition all proof is nonsense. But if you study the bible for a while, you will eventually realize that it is all true, proven to your own satisfaction. Read a chapter of Proverbs every day. Proverbs has 31 chapters so you can keep your place by just looking at a calendar. There is no religion or nothing in Proverbs and you don't have to believe anything. Just read to find wisdom. When you are comfortable with that, then read the bible from Romans to 2 Thessalonians over and over until you start to remember what it says. That is the part that applies to Christians.

Yes God is everywhere. The bible tells us at 2 Chronicles 16:9," For the eyes of Jehovah are roving about through all the earth to show his strength in behalf of those whose heart is complete towards him." Since he is a spirit he has the ability to be everywhere and at any given time. So how could we worship a spirit and can we worship him where ever we are? John 4:24 says,"God is a spirit, and those worshipping him must worship with spirit and truth." Since God is everywhere and he is a spirit we could worship him wherever we are. Just to illustrate I could be in China and you in America and yet GOD can hear our prayers, and am not talking about reaching him on electronic devices but doing so in person. Remember he is the almighty, he is the one who created the moon,stars,sun, earth and galaxies. Have this not proven that he has the ability to be everywhere at any given time!
Yes, God is omnipresent, God is present everywhere. But we don't see God because we see the effects, we don't see the cause. Gold is the cause; the ring, the necklace, the chain, the earring, the nose ring, anklet - they are all effects of gold. In a jewelry shop, you see all these gold ornaments but if you remove the gold, there will be nothing. God is the wave, God is the froth, God is the bubble...God appears as these, when in reality, God is the Divine ocean. The ocean is the cause, the wave is the effect. So also you, me and all of us, we are Divine beings, we are manifestations of God. But we think we are this body and mind. Remember. at death, when God departs, we become nothing, we become rubbish. This is to realize that we are in essence God, manifesting as you and me. God is everywhere - in the sun, the moon, the stars, the birds, the animals,the flowers, God is in you and God in me, God is in everything that moves on earth.
