i am 17 and pregnant. I am turning 18 in almost 2 months. I am currently under the medicaid and food stamps under my parents. Is there any way i can get off their case without them knowing the reason why? & Can i get them for myself?

In order to get taken of your parents case they will have to report you ether not living with them anymore or they will have to say that you live with them but you pay for your own food and personnel items .But yes you can get them in your name. But it is up to you if they know why you wont to be taken off of their snap food case.
They will send them a letter updating there case but it will not tell them why u have moved
That’s not what i’m interestEd in though. I just want to know if i can get off my parents medicaid and foodstamps so i can get it for myself when i move out and for them not to find out the reason why i’m off the case.
Okay great. Because yes that is the case. I’m moving out and want to get those things to make it a bit easier of starting out. So you sure they don’t tell them in a letter or anything why i’m taken off the case? Can they call and find out the reason why , or can it be confidential?
