What type of code is this? \/\/3r3'7 4U9|-|7 70 /\/\3 1 b0r3 7|-|3 (4|\|0P'/
It's from William Shakespeare, "Were’t aught to me I bore the canopy"
The code is a version of Leet or "1337"
I first saw it back in the 80's.. the computer hacker groups would use it. Back then there wasn't fancy graphics, and graphics were often done through character sets (for example ANSI or ASCII Art). So they thought they were cool to use odd characters that looked like other letters. You also needed to use characters cause BBS's were all text back then for your online Bulletin Boards.
