All the symptoms of ADHD and its variants are identical to all the symptoms of childish behavior. Since all children are childish, there is an epidemic of ADHD. As for why, it is because teachers are the ones who do the diagnosis. A teacher expels a student from class based on behavior and will not allow him (usually a male) to return until he is drugged into a tolerable stupor.
