Will a 1:64 die cast car still work if the play set cars are 1:55?

I'm thanking bout getting my son cars 3 play set the car are metal 1:55 die cast. My son loves NASCAR and has a few cars are metal 1:64 die cast. I guess what I try to say is Will the 1:64 cars work on that play set?
