Are there any health effects of smoking cigars?

Absolutely yes. Regular cigar smoking is associated with an increased risk for cancers of the lung, esophagus, larynx (voice box), and oral cavity (lip, tongue, mouth, throat). Smoking cigar also links you with gum disease and tooth loss. Those people, who are very heavy smokers, especially older people, have a very high risk of developing chronic coronary heart diseases. Heavy cigar smoking increases the risk for lung diseases, such as emphysema and chronic bronchitis.
P.S.: Do not never take on smoking. Smoking doesn't make you look cool. And later heavy tobacco smoking will be the sole reason of your death (if you do smoking.)
