6x raised to 3 power minus 3?

Okay, so I don't know what x is. This will be an example problem so you get the general idea.

Let's assume x = 5.

6 x 5 = 30.

30 to the 3rd power = 27000.

27000 - 3 = 26997.

The powers are multiplying a number by itself the number of times that the power is. e.g. 3^3 = 3 x 3 x 3. They are both 27.
