Yes, of course. There are companies that use infrared cameras to photograph the outside of your home in winter. Then they calculate exactly how much heat the house loses through windows and other areas.
You can make a big improvement by just locating all the air leaks on outside walls. Cracks can be sealed with tape or glue and hardware stores sell insulating patches for electrical cover plates. You can also buy Styrofoam sheets at any lumber store to insulate windows, but of course that cuts out the light.
