I need to make a sad video for Filmmaking class. All the songs I’d like to use are too short for the content length. There is nothing against using more than 1 song, I just feel like it will feel too “chopped up” and disrupt the flow of the video. Should I used a long song, even if its a bad one, or find a way to structure it that 2 different songs wouldn’t ruin it to much? If so, how?
Background song(s) for a sad or sentimental video?

Erik Satie, Gymnopédie 1.
Editing is an art. Nothing will align perfectly unless you make it so. Find the right connection, and the transition could go largely unnoticed (or intentionally perceived). Similar to the film's scenes, mayhap more complex yet less noticeable in general.
