My boyfriend/partner of 11 years is literally throwing a tantrum because he doesn't want to go to a wedding with me. He's met the girl years ago, who happens to be a friend since high school, and he said she doesn't like him. He also says that since its on Saturday of the Thanksgiving break it eats into his free time and saying that he's been so busy that he just wants to relax. I am furious. He has known about this wedding for 4 months, but now that its here he is throwing everything my way to not go. Am i overreacting?

Did he say he would go when he first found out about it?Is there proof that she doesn't like him?I can see you feeling the way you feel about this situation but it won't do any good to argue the point maybe just go to the wedding and leave him out of it i know its important but all it will do is put your relationship on the line and thats not really worth it.
Hi! Yes he did say he would go...and there isn't any proof. She's never said anything to me. But you are probably right. I should just go by myself. But even that pisses me off. Beyond frustrating. Thanks for your input!
