I have a kindle fire; the 50$ one, and I want to download apps and move them to my sd card so when I take out the sd card the apps go with it. Is that possible? Im wanting apps like kik to be transferred to the sd card.
I'm not tech savvy so please keep it simple.
When you save an app to your SD card you are really only saving the data incurred while using the app...like settings, etc....not the app itself....so when you move the SD card to another device you still have to download the app to that device.
The good news is that everytime you purchase an app from the amazon store that transaction is stored so you can download that same app on all your other devices for free. I have 14 amazon devices all registered to the same email account so everytime i buy a book or video or app on one device it is immediately available on all the others as well.
Youe are welcome. As to your new questions...I'm not sure. I've never used kik so I;m sure how the data would transfer (if your conversations would be included) or if the other kindle user be able to see the conversations . But let me ask you this...are you able to log out of kik? If so then as long as the other user doesn't know your username and password then they wouldn't be able to lod in to kik and view your conversations.
I see, so will my kik conversations be transferred? Im sharing this kindle along with the amazon account, and would like to keep some stuff private.
