Can the Bible Help Me When I Have Suicidal Thoughts?

Sorry, no, the bible won't help. But what helps is going to a councillor or a psychologist to talk through it with someone who can help.

Barb, the truth is that one who stands on the precipice of the abyss is generally drawn to such a position through a powerful or prolonged sense of detachment. That sensation can override one's perspective of reality, which is never as hopeless nor remote as it may seem. Never. And the people in one's life who are aware of such issues will try to dispel that false notion in whatever manner they can because they do care. Ultimately, however, it is one's decision to choose whom to believe, whether to listen. Scripture, a close friend, logic, medicine. They will help if you but ask.

On another note, and I sincerely hope this is not the case, but if it's another of the witnesses' recruitment tactics, then shame on you is all I have to say. Tell me it isn't and I'll try to help.
