I say we can because the Bible says we can. Read it at, Psalm 37:29 It says simply; "The righteous themselves will possess the earth and they will reside forever upon it" This is Jehovah's promise to us. John 3;16 "For God loved the world so much that he gave his only be-gotten Son, in order that everyone excercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life" Check out these scriptures and get back to me.

Hey their jaybird! im hear to answer your question! First i would like to have you know that you are very much so correct we can live forever! Did you know that god requires of us to do something before we can gain everlasting life? Yes if you read John 17:3 it says " This means everlasting life there taking in knowledge of you the only true god and of the one whom you sent forth Jesus Christ." So god wants us to come to know him and to come to know his son. To come to know god means to really learn about him and his ways. The best way to do that is to read GODS word the bible. God actually wants us to find him he invites everyone on earth to come to know him. One way he does this is by telling us his personal name,at Isaiah 42:8 he says "I am Jehovah and that is my name....". I would really love to share more with you! so please contact me asap. If someone reasoned with you from the Bible to prove logically that humans were meant to live forever, would you believe then?
My answer to you is Yes. Scientists do not know why it is that we grow old and die when the body can heal itself and then at a certain point, slows down and eventually stops.
As a Christian I believe the Bible and the scriptures you quote tell us that we can live forever. God cannot lie, therefore when he promises us life, it is as good as done. However, we do have to do something on our part. Although it is not a reward as such, it is a requirement that we exercise faith in the ransom sacrifice of Christ Jesus and dedicate our lives to serving Jehovah God.
But this is not something we can do without faith. Faith is the assured expectation of things unseen, (Heb 11.v 1) So we need to build up our faith in Jehovah, draw close to him and continue searching.
Hello jaybird. Without question we can life forever on earth. Death was not in Jehovah's original purpose for man but he also did not let the little hiccup of Adam and Eve thwart his purpose. Psalms 37:10,11,29 & Revelation 21:3-5 will be fulfilled because God’s promises are inevitable: “Just as the pouring rain descends, and the snow, from the heavens and does not return to that place, unless it actually saturates the earth and makes it produce and sprout, . . . so my word [God’s word] that goes forth from my mouth will prove to be. It will not return to me without results, but it will certainly do that in which I have delighted, and it will have certain success in that for which I have sent it.” (Isaiah 55:10, 11)

I absolutely agree with you jaybird..... Adam and Eve were not created to die. Had they not been disobedient to a simple commandment of Jehovah God while in the garden of Eden, they'd still be alive today..... (Genesis 2:15-17). Sadly, unfortunately, Adam and Eve passed on sin and imperfection which has produced sickness, old age, and eventual death to all mankind (Romans 5:12).....Genesis chapter 5 gives the names of individuals who died at extraordinary ages, within God's "day" (Genesis chapter 5, Geneis 9:28, Genesis 2:17, 2nd Peter 3:8).
ADAM died at the age of: 930 years (Genesis 5:5)
SETH died at the age of: 912 years (Genesis 5:8)
ENOSH died at the age of: 905 years (Genesis 5:11)
KENAN died at the age of: 910 years (Genesis 5:14)
MAHALALEL died at the age of: 895 years (Genesis 5:17)
JARED died at the age of: 962 years (Genesis 5:20)
ENOCH died at the age of: 365 years (Genesis 5:23)
METHUSELAH died at the age of: 969 years (Genesis 5:27)
NOAH died at the age of: 950 years (Genesis 9:28)
you are right to some extent we do have to die at some point but there are those of us who don't have too. Jehovah god said that very soon he is going to get rid of this system of things, not destroy the world but destroy mankind's way of ruling and when that time comes Jehovah promises to save all those who are truly serving him. Those who are doing that when this system ends wont die. Now those who have died Jehovah promises to bring them back to life with the resurrection hope, God extents this invitation to all humans on earth now its your choice if you would like to come to know god and to live forever.
