I hurt my knee at work. The doctor has me on temporary total disability and has me attending physical therapy. I also have back problems, and a couple of times my work injury has caused my back to go out rendering me immobile which caused me to miss appointments. Once was when I put my weight on that leg while walking down some steps off of my deck the knee buckled causing me to stumble and fall which resulted in my back going out, and then another time it went out while I was doing my physical therapy exercises at home.

Now I understand that if I were to just blatantly miss appointments that workers comp can deem me as "non-compliant" and pause benefits, but if i understand correctly what i have read on the internet, then since my back going out was directly related to the work injury then I cannot be listed as "non-compliant", and, for instance, I even read that if the fall when the knee buckled had cause another injury, for example a shoulder injury or I had hit my head during the fall, then workers comp would be responsible for medical treatment for that as well.

Anyway my question is: in light of the fact that the appointments I missed were a result of the work injury can workers comp deem me as "non-compliant" and pause my benefits?
