Can you cross the Canadian/American border under 18? I've heard you can do it if you are 16 and up but I’m not sure. Any extra information would be helpful. Thank you. (With a passport of course)

Unaccompanied minors can enter Canada but you must provide specific documentation to cross and documentation to re-enter the US.

I am a Canadian citizen hoping to enter the USA and come back. Are the rules the same? If I was 17 and had a Canadian drivers license with a passport would I need any extra documentation? I thank you for your time.
