It is because a family member is scared to fly because they have this condition and are scared of what might happen.

I had this condition many years ago and it is very painful and limiting but I went to work every day except days when I had dr appts. I don't know why it would effect flying. I would talk to a dr. I'm sure if the flight attendants know of any limitation this person has they would help all they can.
