In the southern hemisphere, does cold air blow from the South like it does from the North in the Northern hemisphere?
Yes, as far as the weather patterns are concerned you can effectively flip the earth north-south and have roughly the same pattern. However because the land masses close to the poles are not the same and the antarctic is not the same as the arctic in size or mass it means that there are variations. It really depends on how complex you want your answer. If you're under 14 yrs of age, they're the same, if you're under 18 they are roughly the same, if you're at university and it's part of your degree course then they are only slightly the same.
