Hello people,

Little background info, I am a college student who pays out of pocket.
Ever since i was a teen, parents were not very supportive, so I had to find the means to buy what I needed. Problem is I waste too much on food. I have two jobs and school and where I live takes me about 1.5 hr to get to my house. Either way, my daily day consist of getting up early, going to school, going to work, and finally go back to school around 7pm.

I have tried taking lunch, but it is hard since I live far and have no time and usually when I get home is just time to study. This result in me getting fast food and rushing back to school/work. Thing is every time I have money, i waste more than just having $20. I end up wasting aroud $300 to $400 every month. Insine right! I am not overweight. I just study a lot and I am a mentor at a high schook and work in retail so need some brain and physical power.

Question is, how do i cut on buying food. Is the amount I am wasting reasonable to my crazy schedule? Tips on how to cut down on buying food?
