Yes, there is. Although when we crossed going to Laos, we passed by Nong Khai. As far as I know, there is a bridge crossing the Mekong river going to Laos from Thailand. You should be able to check it as well in the internet. I had the privilege to cross from Thailand to Laos on our visit to the country. We had the trip from north of Thailand before we stayed in Phuket at tamarindvillaphuket.com. The trip was really interesting. I just can't wait to go back.
