My son says this is true and unfortunantly the shower smells like a urnal. I believe it would cause germ groth , thus the smell.
when i was in basic training my battle buddy had athletes foot and the Drill Sergent told him to pee on his foot and it work so i can't say its a fact but it work for him it might work for you
