I've been up for 15 hours but have only worked 6 hours out of that time. I woke up at 6:30am and worked until 9:30am driving, but then had 8 hours between until 5:30pm when I started driving again I finished about 9:30pm I'll o to bed at 11pm and have to get up at 3am to drive again, that's only 5hrs is this legally able to happen or is there braking rules for dot drive time?
DOT hours:
drivers. May drive a maximum of 11 hours after 10 consecutive hours off duty. May drive a maximum of 10 hours after 8 consecutive hours off duty.
