Someone local stole my credit card and used it at a local shop, Will they know that the transaction was fraudulent?

Answer

Credit card companies don't know who uses the card when it's used. You need to cancel your card immediately, and let your credit company know that anything charged on your card after the time it was stolen wasn't you.
