Has anyone taken the guitar class on BYU Independent Studies? Is it hard?

I have taken the class and it is very poorly built. They expect you to learn songs that are really hard even for me and I've been playing for 5 years. On top of that they accused me of plagiarism and I had to withdraw from the course which is now on my college transcript!
