I'm 12 and I've been trying to convince her for almost 2 months now, she is leaning towards yes, but she keeps stalling. She is fixated on either her friend doing it or this guy from NY doing it when we could get it faster at one of the places in town. I'm just considering cutting it off myself, but I'm scared I'll mess it up. Some advice would be great.

I would advise not cutting it off yourself, a lot could go wrong. And cutting that short, there's not really much to do to fix a mistake. While your situation might be different, in my experience things don't really get done if left completely up to parents. Especially if they don't care as much about it as you. Without being pestering, try to take the initiative. Good luck!
