How do I tell if my turtle is a girl or boy?

Details:

I've had my turtle for about 7-8
Months now, I rescued him/her when he/she was about 2 weeks old and I don't know if it's a girl or boy :/ it's a red eared slider.
His/Her shell is about 4-5 centimetres long
Please help!!

you can not tell what gender the turtle is until they are at least 3 inches long!! Males grow 8-10 inches and have much longer claws and a longer tail. Females grow bigger, 10-12 inches and have short claws and a short tail.
you carnt tell when they are babies.
